The main idea of NewsAnalyse
NewsAnalyse is made as an advanced way for getting customized news from various sources based on either the personalized system that learns what the user like/dislikes or based on the search criteria provided by the user themselves that covers details in the news such as location, people, organization and themes discovered.
NewsAnalyse ensures there won’t be redundant news as the user used to encounter earlier but rather a comparison between multiple sources to find out how each news agency has reported the same news item. The result is a feed of news tailored to the user preferences.
With time NewsAnalyse’s smart system can learn personal area of interest and can surprise the user with relevant suggestions of themes and news that the user wouldn’t stumble upon so easily. This smart system is based on the likes/dislikes and rating of the articles the user has done.
The user might mix/combine more than one criteria. For instance, if the user prefers to receive only news about sport and technology from two or more sources, then the user can choose both sport and technology in the topics option.
Users can like/dislike or rate a news article. These actions will help the engine recognize what the user like/dislike and thus refine the news feed.
Users can also save/bookmark important news for a review in the future. Users can even categorize bookmarks into folders and those folders can be shared between users thus enabling a collaboration in news analysis.
Users can click on any person, organization or theme in a news to see other news that are mentioning the same person, organization or theme.
